sleep deprivation
September 27th, 2007from experience, you had probably gathered that i haven’t actually died - it’s just that time of year when another of my events are just around the corner.
now, its safe to say that if you ask anyone to summarise me in a word, “random” comes up at least 7 out of 10 times. i’ve learned that sleep deprivation doesn’t help matters. A few weeks of 20 hour days has lead to today. there’s not much more to say about today than…
- i spent 5 minutes wondering why my mouse seemed to do the opposite of what i wanted, only to find it was upside down
- it took me until 10pm to realise that my shirt was inside out
- i apologised for being a whinging minnie in only the way i can - “i’m sorry for being a minging whinney”
anyway, that’s why i haven’t been posting much - it’s kind of for your own benefit, but normal service will resume shortly… ![]()

Well, looks like the sleep deprivation paid off! The event went without a single visible hitch, everyone I know who’s attended is still absolutely buzzing from it!
Looking forward to Future of Mobile now.

Hey Vero,
Thanks so much for your kind words, it makes all of the tiredness-enduced wrinkles worthwhile, well almost anyway!
Look forward to seeing you at FOM. A little birdy told me they’ll even be serving popcorn there too, don’t say I didn’t warn you!
