    hugo dribbles.

    my head becomes heavier.

    hugo kicks me with his hind legs.

    i nudge hugo.

    hugo tries to eat my hair.

    i give in and roll to the other side of the bed and face facts that i’m always going to be single and sharing my bed with an unforgiving animal. i do love him though (even though he’s snoring as i write this).
