i was sent a super special birthday present in celebration of me turning old tomorrow. then again… maybe it wasn’t so special… infact maybe it wasn’t a present at all…

Shocking! Billions in the bank, price hikes 15% higher than the supposed downturn in profits and they can’t even spring for a pair of shoes on your birthday! Hell, at least you got something.. My birthday was last sunday and I got bupkiss!
Multi-billion pound corporations ought to be made to give out shoe/iPhone/laptop shaped gifts to regular customers when their profits are over £750,000,000 for the year.

I had a similar rollercoaster of excitement when the slip from Royal Mail dropped through my door, to turn up at the sorting office squirming with excitement to realise I was only getting lightbulbs. The postman seemed to empathise, he muttered “sorry, it’s only lightbulbs” when he handed it over, like some kind of Santa-on-a-budget.
Love the new design, particularly the little RSS-reading dude on the right hand side! A belated Happy Birthday, may the randomness continue for many years to come!
