i was lucky enough to get tickets to see stereophonics on friday night – made a million times better by the fact that they were playing bristol… something that never happens. you see, bristol is a thriving city with an active music scene and yet still no decent gig venue… but i diverse…
here’s a clippet from the gig, i really hope that you enjoy!
if you get a chance, they’re well worth checking out live… a night that i’ll never forget
the common theme throughout all of the presentations was the power that is being handed over to the users – companies can no longer make their own agenda, they need to listen to the demands of their users. data needs to be openly available for users for users to access and play with, business models are changing and power shifts are taking place.
i did a presentation on harnessing the power of social media having built a community from scratch for 4mations.tv. i’ve embedded the slides from slideshare below or alternatively you can check them out here.
thanks so much to huw stephens for the fantastic organisation of the day, it was a truly enjoyable day and i’m looking forward to being part of the advisory panel for next year.
well it started with illness, moved on to being super busy, then a lost power chord but at long last i’m back and i’m here to stay…
videos are back to stay every thursday and my wrists have been well and truly slapped. i’ve been at a number of events over the past week, including swn festival for which i’ll be posting my slides shortly. watch this space.
