Thanks for sharing those slides – its a shame there is no accompanying audio. I heard you on Boagworld too which was really insightful – I am too late to post a comment there so thought I would post it here: it would be really useful if you could write a blog post about how to go about hiring/choosing a social media consultant. I have a client asking about this and I can give them some advice but am just a web designer and my knowledge is limited. E.g. What questions should you ask? What kind of rates/contracts/schedules to expect? How to measure success? etc.

I did see Matt Jones’ presentation – it wasn’t the first time I’d seen him speak and as usual he rocked it

Great presentation! Just linked to it at our company blog. This kind of thinking is crucial at the enterprise level, and those companies (associations, non-profits, etc.) that adopt it will make it through our current economic woes. If done really well, they’ll even thrive during these tough times.
