The “Big” 3-0? Hmmm went thru that barrier last year, and, you know what? It’s not so bad.
The best way to make getting older not hurt? *Celebrate* each one with joy and love and happiness, then you don’t tend to dread “That Day”, make “That Year” any worse than it could be… just totally indulge yourself for that one day, week or month… as long as it takes to make it “right”.
Happy thursday!

haha, “you have a party and your neighbors don’t even realize it.” That’s classic. Thanks for brightening up my Thursday, Mel!

You can tell you’re getting old when you have to ask your 17yr old daughter what the song is on Mel’s Thursday video.

You know you’re getting old when you have to squint to read the writing on the Thursday video cards

Jon – I feel better now. I think if you’re a girl, you’re allowed to celebrate for 11 months which takes you up to the month before your birthday again when the realisation kicks in that you’re going to be another year older and then spend 4 weeks panicking!
Luke – You’re welcome. How’s one of my fav web peeps doing?
Dougie – Haha, that just made me laugh. I kinda love you for making me feel better
Dan – Are you saying that your eyes are bad or my writing is awful? Hmmm
