we all have things that make us smile. some of us have lots of things and others are just miserable buggers that only have a few. whatever the case might be, there are normally many things that make me smile. there are also a few that don’t. i thought i’d share…

What makes me smile? I had a chuckle at a Ken Dodd joke.
‘Oh what a lovely day, Oh what a lovely for going down the street, shoving a cucumber thorugh everyone’s letterbox, and running up and down shouting “The Martians are coming! The Martians are coming”‘
Lots of things make me smile, and I often laugh at things that I shouldn’t. We’re surrounded by funny moments, and I often see humour where many don’t. I also chuckled to day at the heading of a blog I posted.

Apart from humour there’s loads of other stuff….hearing from someone that you haven’t spoken to for a while, some great food, a nice drink, the sun shining, a dog farting, the snow falling, a cork popping, a good massage, seeing animals in their natural habitat….a beautiful scene, glimpsing the unity of the universe and everything in it, being with someone you love, seeing the wonder in a child’s eyes…all good smiling material! ;o)

What makes me smile is seeing England get through the first round of the World Cup Finals and get to play Germany on Sunday! :O)
