I’m currently on the hunt for a property. It’s time to wave farewell to Windsor, it’s served me well but I’m entering a new stage in my life and it’s time to leave the past behind.
Now I’m sure that I’m not alone on this… you find your dream property, you turn up to view it, butterflies in the tummy to find that the estate agent (realtor) had may as well have described a completely different property. Shattering.
In this week’s video, I help unearth what some of their terminology can be translated to mean…
Always a pleasure, never a chore.

We had one four bedroom house we looked at. The estate agent had the fourth bedroom described as a “double bedroom”. The room was barely big enough for a double bed. The owners had squeezed a 4’6″ double in there, but it was pressed hard against three of the four walls and the other wall had a sloping section over the staircase. You could barely get in without climbing on the bed.
Best of luck finding somewhere new.
