having opened up the vlog to crowdsourced content, this week’s topic has been selected by @wallrat who posed the question “can android boys date iphone girls?”.

i know it’s a question so many of you have spent hours wide awake pondering at night. so i’ve taken an objective view and have recorded my findings for you here, my friends. please, no need to thank me.

well with me being a real life cupid (albeit unable to sort my own love life it would appear), i’ve put together some tips and advice for things to avoid when posting your profile picture to a dating site. i’m nice like that. no need to thank me, honest. oh, go on then!

you’d think it would be common sense. how hard can it be to choose a picture to post to your profile on a dating site? not hard surely? then how come so many people seem to fudge it up so badly? this is my question! for those of you who are single and thinking about going on a dating site, you might want to listen to my advice. for those of you who aren’t single, you might want to watch and be smug that you’ve found your “one”. either way, enjoy.

so hopefully that’s got you off on the right footing, but i’m more than happy to help if you have any further questions. just call it my bit for the dating community

you know what it’s like… the sun finally makes an appearance, the girls change into their summer dresses and the boys are attracted like bees to a honey pot. if you’re one of those bees, you might want to pay attention to the following video if you’re ever going to get close to the nectar

as you’ll know (because i’ve harped on about it so damn much!), i’m now in windsor, settled and happy, thanks to you all for your well wishes. as research for the new role, i took it upon myself to undertake in-depth research and i thought it only fair to share my findings with you…

if you take away one thing and one thing only from this video, let it be “manscaping”… no need to say anything more!

ok ok, so i know that this is harsh and probably not something that i should be doing, but here goes…

i’ll first make things better by making a bit of a confession. having been single for a while, i was discussing the situation with my friends – explaining that bars just aren’t the right places to find someone and when you work for a small company you’re never going to find someone in work. it was at this point that one of my friends suggested i try an online dating site. now, i’m aware of the stigma attached to those sites and i said no at least for the first 8 times she suggested it.

on the 9th time though i broke and agreed to sign up to a site, but refused to post a proper profile or a picture. i just wanted to be nosy and have a gander. 5 minutes after signing up i get an email from the chap above telling my how pretty my picture is and he can’t believe that i’m single.

worried that i had accidentally posted a picture, i check my profile and there’s definitely nothing there. then i read the email again and it’s very generic which is when it struck me that it was an email he was cutting and pasting to all of the girls on the site. needless to say i didn’t respond.

so here’s a word of warning for all of you guys and girls out there – if you’re going to send a generic email, check the content first and make sure it’s relevant and if you really want to push the boat out, maybe even use their name… on a side note, having posters on your walls (including one of ghostbusters and another of a girl in a bikini) is never going to help your case.

i think i’d rather remain single thanks – the quickest signup and withdrawal from a site ever
